The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire was established in 1624 and has played an important role in Sheffield’s manufacturing history for 400 years.
The Company represents the manufacturing heritage of Sheffield and South Yorkshire, supporting the industries, businesses, skills and education that continue to shape the region.
The Master Cutler is a manufacturer who acts as the Voice of Manufacturing, supported by the Members of the Company, Freemen and Friends.
